While developing Joe Fresh Beauty, I was also working on the development of custom Joe Beauty fixtures with Array Marketing. Array could not proceed beyond conceptual drawings until the actual product range (breadth, depth and packaging components) was finalized and so, in the midst of developing cosmetic skus, I was also facilitating meetings and approvals on merchandise displays (fixture concepts and prototypes, and signage).
We were developing products and fixtures simultaneously and could not afford delays of any sort – timing was critical, launching on time was paramount and maintaining a calm composure throughout was essential!
- The tower, 9 ft gondola and pallet configurations were developed and mass-produced on time!
- The 3 formats allowed us to maximize the presence of the program in stores of varying layout and space
- Visual branding flexibility was built into each fixture – headers and graphics could easily be updated and changed-out at store level as needed
- Interchangeable product cassettes allowed for new product innovations to be swapped-in with ease and speed
